While this summer still has a lot of unknowns, what I do know is that it is going to be a blast!

Work
This summer I will be working more than I have any summer before. I officially have two summer jobs one being a kitchen assistant at the YMCA Camp Icaghowan. I have worked here previous summers and make decent money so I thought it would be a good place to continue for this summer. At camp I work in the kitchen setting tables, prepping food, serving food and cleaning up afterwards. The best part about this job is that my coworkers are my high school friends, working with friends always makes it better. My second job is working at a farmers marketing selling a farm's beef and cheese. I live next to a dairy farm and our family has gotten close to them for obvious reasons, so when the farm was looking for part-time workers to sell their products my brother and I were the first people they inquired. This will be my brother and I's second summer doing this and I'm honestly excited for it because I enjoy spending time with my brother and because it is a great environment to be in. We get to be outside and socialize with customers and coworkers. I met so many amazing people last summer and it was a super beneficial job for me to grow in.
Trips
Along with work, you have to have a little fun, right? This summer my family has two lake trips planned. For five years in a row, my family has rented a lake cabin up in Luck, WI for a week and it is a new favorite tradition of ours. So, we decided to do it twice this year! My family loves the water and sun so it is a great time, we also invite friends up to stay with us. Along with these lake trips, my friend and I are planning on a small girls trip for a weekend to spread out wings and try a trip of our own without our parents. We still have lots of planning to do for this. I also plan to hangout with friends who I haven't seen for awhile and reconnect with high school friends and hopefully become friends with others whom I haven't yet. I plan to be outside soaking up the sun, swimming a bunch, sitting by the bonfire, and playing yard games as well as hanging out with friends, family and can't forget about the dogs!
